Omega - 11003 - Men - 1970-1979

Extremely rare Omega Fifa Referee. In 1979, this watch was officially approved by FIFA as a referee watch and was used for a short while after that. The limited edition and the fact that this watch was never issued for consumers, makes it an ultimate collector's item. The watch uses the Omega cal. 1045. Dial is somewhat adjusted for the 11003, so that the FIFA logo could be placed at the 12h position, instead of the 24h indicator. The dial has a central chronograph with a special 45 minute timer in orange, for timing the halves of a football game. The dial of this piece is in immaculate condition. Dial and hands still have the original tritium. The watch has a day and date display, which still look very good. The steel 40 mm case is in very good condition and the facet edges are still clearly visible. The screwback is in good conditoin and has a reference number at the inside. The watch is very clean and runs very well. Comes on a black (20 cm) canvas strap. Insured shipping.
