Omega - Seamaster Automatic - "NO RESERVE PRICE" - 166.110 - Men - 1970-1979

Splendid and sizeable Omega Seamaster Automatic from 1970 (serial number: 32. xxx. xxx) . The steel case has a 'Tonneau' shape which measures approx. 38 x 42 mm, excluding the (original) crown. The dial has gained a beautiful brown/gold patina over the years. The outer edge is a white, divided ring with superb retro-style thick markers. The logo, hands, and the date aperture are all made of silver. All-in-all, a splendid combination. The case back has a vivid image of the Seamaster logo. The movement is an original calibre 1002 - automatic - by Omega. It runs well, but its service history is unknown. The strap is an unusual, rough leather 22 mm strap with a large generic buckle clasp. It is suitable for wrists up to at least 22 cm. The watch is in beautiful, vintage condition (8. 5/10 optically) and it's been fitted with a new crystal (not Plexiglas) .
