Wonderful 1st generation Omega Speedmaster Professional X33 from around 1997/1998 - serial number: 55. 92x. xxx. Tested with the help of European - ESA- and American - NASA -astronauts and the pilots of the Blue Angels and Thunderbirds. The prototype from around 1995 was called Flightmaster, which was changed later to X33. The watch offers a very extensive number of functions. In addition to current time and perpetual calendar, there is a programmable alarm of approx. 80 decibels, mission timer, mission alarm, universal time (GMT) , universal alarm, countdown timer (with alarm) and a chronograph. The watch can be operated very well while wearing gloves, a must for aviators and astronauts, by using the four pushers. The case is made of titanium and measures approx. 44 mm in diameter without crown. Therefore substantial and sturdy. The strap is an Omega original and black, 20 mm wide, Kevlar. This has a very fine, easily adjustable folding clip clasp made of steel. The strap is suitable for a wrist size of 19 cm at the most. The watch is optically in very neat condition - 8. 5/10 and the calibre 1666 timepiece works fine. Only this "MARS WATCH" is sold. There are no extras. Needless to say, this item will be shipped well-packaged and by registered - insured - post.
