Onyx, enamel and diamond desk timepiece, Black Starr & Frost, 1930s

Rectangular, the top inset with a panel of onyx, the exterior applied with a geometric pattern in white enamel, the hinged front with rose diamond handles opening to reveal a square dial of white guilloché enamel with blued steel hands within a Roman numeral border, to an onyx base, measuring approximately 60 x 30 x 37mm, dial signed Black, Starr & Frost, case numbered, French assay and maker's marks.
