Opel - Olympia 1500 - 1951
The car was restored about 20 years ago, the engine was completely overhauled and converted to modern crankshaft and connecting rod bearings. The body is unwelded and has no rust through. The interior has been redesigned, reupholstered and covered with matching, easy-care Alcantara (not original specification) . The roof lining was renewed, but not by a specialist. The car has the Swiss veteran's license (corresponds approximately to the H-plate) , was fabricated in December 1951 and in January 1952 first registered in Zurich. The engine runs perfectly, the 3-speed gearbox shifts wonderfully, the road conditions are extremely comfortable. The non-original paint shows a healthy patina (no rust bubbles!) , But was repaired in several places. The engine and the rear axle have slight oil losses. The car is near Zurich and can be inspected and tested by appointment at any time. I sell the car on behalf of the owner.
