Opel - Open brandweerwagen- 1955

Opel Blitz round head fire engine with open body from the company Kronenburg Culemborg NL. Only 6 of this type are known, but this is the only one on a longer chassis. The fire engine has served At the Nieuwpoort / Langerak NL force. Later the car ended up at the car museum van de Rijke in Oostvoorne. Because the car has been there for years, there was still some technical work to do. Done in 2017/18: brake overhaul, new exhaust, radiator, water pump etc. etc. Then inspected at the RDW and put back in load capacity. The blitz can now be driven with driving license B. The car has always been inside and has never been restored. First paint with some minor damage. Speedometer and KM counter not working (not necessary for cars in the Netherlands before 1967) Fire brigade pump is stuck and therefore not working.
