Opossum Sculpture by Marian Weisberg

Composite sculpture with bronze finish of an opossum, signed on end of base "Marian Weisberg"; 7"H, 4"W, 6"D---Marian Weisberg began sculpting in 1952 after a successful career as a furniture designer. She graduated from the Parsons School of Design and then studied at New York University, Brooklyn Museum and the Art Students League. She has exhibited in numerous galleries and has been the recipient of various awards. (Ref. 5)
