Some inclusions are slightly visible to the naked eye but, under magnification, they readily affirm the sapphire's unheated status and, in turn, perfectly showcase the natural, unaltered world of corundum. The only notable condition issues are a slight, eye-visible nick on the girdle and a shallow cavity on one crown facet, likely caused by a crystal inclusion being removed during faceting.
