It is made out of an intriguing material known as Orbicular Granite, which forms its interesting pattern while magma cools. Ghostly dark concentric circles pop off the white gray background. Not only is this ornamental sphere a great conversation piece, it also does represent a geologic phenomenon. This massive example of plutonic rock is very solid and quite heavy.
