Original 1906 Swiss Steamship Travel Poster
Paul Krawutschke, aka PIK (German, 1865-unknown). Historic Jugendstil-style travel poster. Dated original 1906 lithograph depicting a man blowing a horn on rocks overlooking Lake Lucerne, as the (then) new steamship "Uri" sails by. The Uri is a paddle steamer that has only recently been restored and is currently still in operation since its launch in 1901. Measures 45-3/4'' x 33'', backed with linen. Framed to 54" x 40-1/2".
