Kashmar carpets are woven in the small town of Kashmar in Khorasan Province in northeastern Iran. These rugs are considered elegant masterpieces and are highly valued for their harmonious color combinations and sophisticated attention to detail. The rugs are generally larger and are usually woven from fine soft wool and a fairly thick pile, making them very soft.

Kashmar offers a diverse selection of designs and rugs with beautifully decorated center medallions and gusset patterns similar to the classic Keshan rugs.
