Historische altkolorierte Kupferstich-Landkarte von Japan und seinen Inseln von Georg Matthäus Seutter (1678-1757). Die Karte wurde gestochen von Tobias Conrad Lotter, nach Engelbert Kämpfer. Die Landkarte weist eine sehr schöne figurale Kartusche am oberen linken Eck auf. Antique old colored map, a copper engraving, 1742 of Japan from Georg Matthäus Seutter (1678-1757). Published at Matthäus Seutter in Augsburg around, 1742. The map was engraved by Tobias Conrad Lotter, after the geographical sketches of the travel by Engelbert Kaempfer to Japan. In the upper left corner we find a large figurative and allegoric title cartouche, with scenes relating to the exploration of Japan.
