Very good condition except for some trimming of the margins and that it’s backed with a thick paper. Artists double red square seals at lower right. Will be shipped without the frame but including the mat (dressed in fabric) . Attached to the mat. Publisher Watanabe Shozaburo. Watanabe Print ref. no. 710. The Tokyo-Yokohama earthquake of September 1923 had a magnitude of 7. 9. The estmated death toll is 140,000. More than half of the brick buildings and 1/10 of all the reinforced concrete structures collapsed. Followed by a 12 m tsunami and fires.
