Ornate 19th C. Chinese Glazed Pottery Ink Stand
East Asia, China, late Qing Dynasty, ca. 19th century CE. An ornate openwork ink stand, used by a scholar in the late Qing period. It is made of teal-glazed ceramic, with open spaces for holding two pens and a square stamp seal. Decorative motifs resembling Chinese coins decorate the sides and face. Size: 2.25" W x 1.6" H (5.7 cm x 4.1 cm)
