Ospiti di Sacra Famiglia Onlus - Normali Meraviglie - Sculpture, Vase - Vaso colorato

[ translate ]

Vase entirely made and decorated by hand. It is part of a collection of vases made in the ceramic workshop by the guests of Sacra Famiglia Onlus and is described as follows, "The motivation of the painting does not lie in its efficiency. Its reality consists entirely in the beauty (love) with which it is elaborated and in the poetry (sentiment) it contains (and perhaps fails to convey) . If you do not find definite objectives, if you do not know "what" and "for whom" and "why" you think of these paintings, if you know that the idea does not welcome the future, if you do not know how to think of precise signs of the time, to general and rational transformations, to global visions of the world . . . , then you concentrate on yourself, looking for "pieces of visual thought" within yourself, with the sole hypothesis of bringing the painting to life in its expressive vocation: calm, detached, cheerful, distant, without a message. . . In the case of ceramics, the tridimensional object is understood as painting, as a tool of “pure” visual reality. The painting on the vases (because it is only a painting on the vases) is cold, while the design is warm to correspond to a poetic vision of the distant and semi-imaginative world, suitable for the new man, for the decorative man: the man of today, who lives at the end of the ideologies. " This work is part of the social design project "Normali Meraviglie", an initiative promoted by the Sacra Famiglia Foundation to protect and enhance the concept of fragility, strongly linked to their guests, in collaboration with the Tam Tam association, a school of visual activities founded by A. Guerriero (director) , A. Mendini, R. Dalisi, G. Ghidelli. Generosity is what brought to life the entire project; the generosity of the artists who share their creativity, of those who passionately coordinate the workshop activities, and of those who will purchase the works. Part of the proceeds from the purchase of these works will go to the Foundation Sacra Famiglia for the development and support of their workshop activities. NB: This piece is currently on display/exhibition. After the payment has cleared, it will take 10/15 days for dismantling the exhibition + creating decorative and protective packaging in Boolean subtraction nesting + shipping.
