Otto Morach 1887–1973 PKZ / Vêtements vintage poster
Caption Brief: In this French-language version of Morach’s celebrated PKZ design, “Vêtements” identifies the product while the image does most of the persuasive work. Two sharply simplified figures, nearly mirror images of one another, read newspapers that themselves carry PKZ advertising, creating a witty play between consumer, product, and promotion. The composition becomes even more compelling when repeated in sequence, turning the paired figures into a rhythmic procession across the display.
