Pen on laid paper. 20,8 × 29 cm. (8 ¼ × 11 ⅜ in.) Inscribed in pencil on the lower left of the enclosed support paper: 27. On the reverse: pencil- and pen sketches of sailing ships. Inscribed in pencil lower right: Vollmer. 4 Supplements: 1) Hermann Kauffmann: Illustration with text to Eichendorff's poem "Mittagsruh". 1847. Pen and brown ink and pencil on fine cardboard, 27,3 x 23,4 cm. Signed and dated lower left. 2) Hermann Kauffmann: Rolling landscape with mill by the stream. Pen in black and brown ink as well as pencil, washed and heightened with white, on paper, 28 x 62,8 cm. Signed on the lower right, on a piece of paper attached with glue: Kauffmann. 3) Adolf Vollmer(?): Study of a tree. 1851. Pencil on two attached sheets of paper, 33,5 x 31 cm. Inscribed, dated and monogrammed lower right: Mühlenkamp. Sept 9. 51. AV[? ]. 4) Thomas Fearnley: Slinderbjerke. Small landscape by a lake. Circa 1839. Etching on cardboard, 14 x 18,5 cm.
