Ottoman textiles: four good embroidered items, comprising a fine towel, each end finished in metal thread lace, two borders with stylized designs of tall trees, buildings and flowers, silk thread worked in cream, green and shades of brown, approx. 100 cm by 68cm; together with a square panel, perhaps a turban cover, fine fabric embroidered in silks, bold flowers in lilac and pink, smaller flowers and leaves in blue and green, gold thread incorporated, approx. 80 cm by 77cm; a long cotton sash with deep embroidery to each end, worked with two large motifs of flowers on a thick stem, the stem and leaves in metal thread, a band at the very bottom showing different stitches in silks and metal threads, approx. 232 cm by 31 cm; and a narrower sash, finely embroidered, with leaves and crosses in silk and metal threads, approx. 176 cm by 22.5 cm (4) (Shipping category D)

The first item, metal lace requires to be re-attached at one side. Some light wear and small pinholes. Item two, very slight foxing. Sash clean and crisp, one tiny hole noted. The last item has staining to the plain centre section, which has resulted in holes.
