Outstanding Baroque cabinet
Augsburg 1st quarter of the 18th century. A demountable waxed walnut and softwood cabinet with wedge joints, set on five carved claw feet, with a removable moulded cornice, the front richly carved with fruits and grapes, with 2 large doors, carved in high relief with heads and wings, the sides and angles with flame mouldings, the plinth with 2 small doors which are similarly decorated. With gilt bronze mounts, blued bands and locks. Ca. 220 x 213 x 83 cm. In restored condition. (DOC)
