Parquetry inlay in numerous exotic hardwoods such as oyster wood, rosewood, mahogany, satinwood, cherry and others, locking lid with shield escutcheon, opens to removable divided shelf with five compartments, two with lids, one with pin-cushion; under this shelf is open well flanked by two dovetailed drawers with turned wood knobs all in oyster wood, original finish, 14 x 9.5 x8.5" high. Condition chips along base at right side, one small veneer loss on front, some interior parts missing.
