Stamp: Verso Collector's stamp, Lugt no.: 4040. Arnold Blome (1894-1972). Bremen. 20th century

Inscription: Partly unrecognisably inscribed on the reverse. There are also two estate stamps: "Peter Becker Nachlass", several collection stamps of the "Blome" collection as well as a collection stamp with three stars in a representation of a coat of arms.

Date: 19th century

Description: Sketchy veduta of the small town of Neustadt in northern Hesse with a view of the group of picturesque half-timbered houses around the Junker Hansen Tower, the town's landmark. It is considered the largest half-timbered circular building in the world and was built around 1480 on the remains of a medieval castle.
