Description: Inscribed on an accompanying label: Publication: La figure humaine. Printer: Mourlot, Paris 1939. Detail from the painting "Jeune fille dans une barque" by the French painter from the Post-Impressionist period. In the foreground a young woman has taken a seat in the barque, a hat covers her head. In her arm she holds a dog which, it seems, is looking anxiously in the direction of the viewers. Unlike in BONNARD's work, the female figure is depicted here in isolation; no other figures or the surrounding body of water are visible. On the reverse, fragment of another lithograph in black and white
