A late 19th century carved German wall clock by Philip Haas & Sohne. 8-day spring driven time only movement with painted metal dial and Roman numerals. Carved Walnut case with urn finial and the motto "Benutze die Zeit" or "Seize the Time", above a beaded bezel flanked by floral detail and a foliate and scrolled lower door. Refinished with minor wear, replaced minute hand, running when cataloged. 25" high overall. ESTIMATE $600-800
