Technique: Copper engraving on Paper

Inscription: At the lower part signed in the printing plate: "CTBorch pinxit. / Paul. Pontius sculpsit.". At the center inscribed in the printing plate: "Vopiscus Fortunatus Plempius Amstelredamensis Medicinae Doctor et Professor In Academia Lovaniensi MDCXLVIII Ætat XLVI.". Lower middle further inscription: "Natura, arte, et fortuna. / Natura, si mestiris indolem, favit; Ars incubando femen inditum fovit. dignum viso fortuna omen adjecit, qaue terna cum medicum expleantibi excellant jures Galenum in PLEMPIO revixisse".
