Pablo Picasso (Spanish, 1881-1973) After: Portrait of Woman in a Chair. Etching, signed lower right in pencil, numbered 5/75, undated, unframed.

Picasso was the most dominant and influential artist of the first half of the twentieth century. Associated most of all with pioneering Cubism, alongside Georges Braque, he also invented collage and made major contributions to Symbolism and Surrealism.

11x8.5 inches paper; 7.75x5.5 inches plate.

Poor condition, light creases and foxing throughout; small dent in the middle of the print; a small spill/stain transparent substance upper right; two slightly larger than pinholes near the hand.
