Claude Picasso has confirmed the authenticity of this work.

Condition Report:
The ceramic is sound. There is a hole in the plaque at the base of the tail, which is original to the impression. There are four creases along the lower edge, also original. There are some very minor surface scuffs and specks of studio dirt. This work is in very good condition.
