PABLO PICASSO
1881 - 1973
PORTRAIT DE JACQUELINE AU FAUTEUIL (BA. 1054; PP. L-033)

The very rare linoleum cut printed in red and yellow, 1958, Baer's state B. a., one of only a few impressions (Baer records only two, this impression presumably cited by Baer as being in a private collection), there was no published edition of this subject, with the printer's inkstamp 'Imprimerie Arnèra Archives / Non Signé' verso, Arnèra, Vallauris, on wove paper, framed
image: 640 by 530mm 25¼ by 20⅞in
sheet: 768 by 572mm 30¼ by 22½in

Condition Report:
With full margins, in good condition, a minute white adhesion in lower left corner of the image, an unobtrusive handling crease at centre of upper margin, very pale mount- and backboard-staining, a few miniscule fox marks in the margins and verso, the sheet taped to mount in five places with white and clear tape verso, framed.

(A few minor scuff marks verso are probably inherent to production).
