PORTRAITS DE PETITE FILLE (QUATRE SUJETS) - VERSO
pencil on paper
Sheet: 31.5 by 24.5cm., 12⅜ by 9⅝in.
Framed: 55 by 45cm., 21⅝ by 17¾in.
Drawn in 1922.
Condition Report:
Executed on cream wove paper, not laid down, hinged to the mount in two places along the upper edge and floating in the over-mount. The left, right and lower edges are slightly unevenly torn, most prominently on the lower edge. There are a few very small spots of foxing in places and two small indentations to the paper from behind, the most prominent of which is just to the right of the girl's lunch box. There is some light surface dirt and handling marks in places, most particularly to the extreme edges. There is a very minor, barely visible diagonal crease to the lower left corner. There are some very minor and slightly discoloured glue remnants to each corner of the verso. This work is in overall good condition.
