Pair of 19th century Chinese cobalt blue ground large ginger jars. Ginger jars with hand painted gold gilt decoration. Ginger jars with covers on 15 inches tall. One cover has been repair orglued. Visible in photo. The other cover is in four pieces, but we did not glue together. As is. Both Ginger jars in good condition with some wear to gold. Double cobalt blue underglaze ring marks. Both have cobalt blue pottery bases and bothbases with chips. Bases 2 1/2 inches tall x 8 1/2 diametre. As is. Shipping weight 12 pounds each.
