Chinese. Pair of hu-form baluster white ground Ge ware crackle glaze vases, having cherry blossom handles, and decorated with raised brown cranes and dragons chasing a pearl, on wooden bases. Four character mark to the underside. Provenance: From a Private Collection, Birmingham, AL, by descent; acquired in China between 1901-1926. Approx. h. 17.5", dia. 7.5" (vase).
