PAIR CHINESE YELLOW GROUND VASES MOUNTED AS LAMPS
Pair of small Chinese Famille Rose porcelain baluster form vases now mounted as lamps, each having a yellow ground with scrolling pink and green foliate decoration, with lappets at the foot, rising on wooden bases, underside of each has been drilled with partial red character marks remaining.
Approximate dimensions: overall to the socket h. 15. 25", sq. 4. 25"; vase. h. 9. 75", dia. 3. 75".
Condition Report: Both vases have been drilled with most of the underside missing, firing and glaze imperfections, some enamel loss, one vase with flakes to the rim under cap, no other apparent chips, cracks, or restorations when examined under ultravioletCondition reports state our professional opinion and should not be treated as a statement of fact.
