PAIR FEDERAL PARQUETRY INLAID KNIFE BOXES AS LAMPS

Pair of Federal parquetry inlaid knife boxes, mounted as table lamps with off white pleated fabric shades. Each one measures a total of 37.5" tall to tip of finial, or 25.5" tall to lip of socket. Original box finials are now the lamp finials. Condition: first lamp: repair to edge of lid, two splits to the main body; second lamp: small split to lid, starts of a few small splits to body, two small losses to veneer; lamps may need rewiring for continued safe use although they are working as is, tarnishing to lamp hardware, see images.
