PAIR OF ANTIQUE TAPESTRY PANELS AS CUSHIONS

Two similar near-pair figured tapestry panels with central figures surrounded by flora. One figure is possibly a griffin and the other an angel. Both in shades of gold green and blue with woven gold silk borders. Later pillow fill and teal blue velvet backing with a tasseled fringe. Tapestry 17/18th c.
