PAIR OF BACTRIAN STONE OIL LAMPS DECORATED

A pair Bactrian grey stone oil lamps, unusual and large. Carved from a single block of grey schist. Oil lamps like this held animal tallow or olive oil and would have had a fabric wick emerging from the front. One of the lamps has the spout incised with an animal, most likely a lizard.
