Matte and polished gilt bronze and cut glass.

Similar confectionery bowls, signed THOMIRE A PARIS, are depicted in: H. Ottomeyer / P. Pröschel, Vergoldete Bronzen - Die Bronzearbeiten des Spätbarock und Klassizismus, Munich 1986; I, p. 387 (Ill. 5.16.13). A very similar pair was sold at our September 2006 Auction (Lot No. 1321) .
