PAIR OF ENGLISH PORCELAIN VASES

pair of apple-green porcelain tapered vases, each with scrolled handles, articulated and rocaille bodies, each featuring a courting scene between a young maiden and gentleman, the verso with a wild garden bouquet of poppies and roses, incised V in paste underside of one; height: 39.5 cm (15 1/2 in.)

CONDITION
The pair of vases appear in age-appropriate condition. Rubbing and light surface scratches visible to the gilt accents. A very fine crack is visible to the interior of one. Very minor surface grime visible to the rocaille bases and rims. One is loose atop the base. Inspection under UV light shows fluorescence but no apparent sign of restoration.
