PAIR OF IMPERIAL RUSSIAN PORCELAIN BOWLS 1860-1905. Comprising an Imperial Porcelain Factory soup plate from the Purple or Tsarskoselskii Service. The border of the shaped circular soup bowl decorated with puce landscapes with gilt reserves ornamented with foliage and cartouches in ciselé. The underside with the green cypher mark of Nicholas II and dated 1905. Diameter 10 inches (25.5 cm). Together with an Imperial Porcelain Factory soup plate from the Banquet Service of Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich. Decorated with gilded latticework borders and foliate scrolls outlined in red relieved by the crowned monogram of Grand Duke Alexander Alexandrovich (the future Emperor Alexander III). The underside with cypher of Alexander II (1855-1881). Diameter 10 inches (25.5 cm).
