PAIR OF IMPORTANT CANDELABRAS "ZEPHYR ET FLORE",

Directory, attributable to F. REMOND (François Rémond, ca. 1746 Paris 1812), Paris ca.1800.

Matte and polished gilt bronze and patinated bronze, and "Griotte Rouge" marble. Zephyr and Flora, standing and holding a cornucopia filled with blossoms, with 3 light branches decorated with leaves. Broad drip plates and vase-shaped nozzles. On a cylindrical base with a square plinth. Old restorations. Some losses.

H 83 cm.
