[ translate ]

PAIRPOINT APPLE TREE PUFFY ART GLASS ELECTRIC TABLE LAMP, large puffy shade featuring many yellow and orange variegated apples within a bed of green leaves, three bees to one side, with the other featuring a cluster of flowers with two colorful adjacent butterflies, seems to be artists signed to the interior, "R. C./1919". Raised on a figural tree-trunk base, signed to the underside "PAIRPOINT MFG CO.", numbered "3092". When the shade is resting on the shade holder, one side of the shade does not touch the fourth arm, causing the shade to sit precariously and with a lean. Pairpoint Mfg. Co. Circa 1919. 28 3/4" HOA. Shade: 16" DOA.
Literature: Parallels Malakoff - Pairpoint Lamps, p. 14.
Provenance:

From the estate of Louis St. Aubin.
Condition Report: Excellent condition overall with the shade nearly undamaged except some instances of roughness where the supporting arms meet the glass, some scattered surface wear; base having wear to the patina. When the shade is resting on the shade holder, one side of the shade does not touch the fourth arm, causing the shade to sit precariously and with a lean.
