This prison film was directed by Franklin J. Schaffner, and stars Steve McQueen, Dustin Hoffman and Victor Jory. The story was based on the autobiography by the French convict Henri Charrière. It was billed as 'the greatest adventure of escape !'. This poster was signed by Dustin Hoffman at a BAFTA talk about his career. It is rare for anyone to have an original film poster signed, as the majority of signatures are on pieces of paper, photographs and video/dvd sleeves. It is unusual to have the film's poster with you when you try to obtain signatures.
