Description: A very rare Paracas pottery vessel in the form of a human head. Oval form with opening in the mouth area, showing small teeth, lips in relief. Prominent segmented horn in the forehead. Green concentric circles over black background on the upper hair area an base. Small incised circles as the beard. Large black iris on white sclera. Includes thermoluminescence certificate and X-Ray.| Paracas. Peru. 4th-2nd Century BC.
Condition: Earthen deposits inside. Surface wear and some minor scratches. Restoration over fracture line on the horn. Small repaints throughout the piece. Fine condition Notes: The piece includes authenticity certificate.
