Large octavo of 451 pages. Half leather binding, brown, with 6 compartments gilt-tooled. Elegant floral tools fill the compartments. Solid cover in brownish marbled paper. This copy was acquired already by Queen Margherita of Italy, marked by the royal label on the spine. Some foxing at the beginning, but the text block is good. The spine bears the number 32, referring to a collection of the Queen Mother of Italy.
Originally published by the publisher Alphonse Lemerre, this anthology brings together the work of 63 poets of the time. The term refers to Mount Parnassus, the mythical residence of the Muses in Ancient Greece.
It has a large ex libris of Queen Elena of Italy (1873-1952).

Cet exemplaire fut acquis déjà par la reine Marguerite d’Italie, marqué par l’étiquette royale au dos. Quelques taches d’acidité au début, mais corps d’ouvrage en bon état. Le dos porte le numéro 32, se rapportant à une collection de la reine mère d’Italie.
Publié à l’origine par l’éditeur Alphonse Lemerre, ce recueil réunit la production de 63 poètes de l’époque. Le terme fait référence au mont Parnasse, la résidence mythique des Muses dans la Grèce antique.
Il porte un grand ex-libris de la reine Hélène d’Italie (1873-1952).

本选集最初由出版商 Alphonse Lemerre 出版，汇集了当时63位诗人的作品。“Parnasse”一词指的是帕纳索斯山，即古希腊神话中缪斯女神的 居所。
