Condition Report:
Movement: running at the time of cataloguing.
Case: with traces of aging throughout. The case bears scratching throughout. Hallmarks are visible, the hallmark to the bottom right lug has lost some definition. The bottom left lug is engraved with "198", matching with the last 3 digits of the case number. The back is engraved with the Coats of Arms of the King of Iraq.
Dial: with signs of aging throughout. The dial bears dirt around its periphery and especially towards the 5 o'clock index.

Please note that the movement has not been tested for the accuracy of time and may need a service at the buyer's expense. Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement and we do not guarantee the authenticity of any individual component parts since subsequent repairs and restoration work may have resulted in the replacement of original parts.
