In 1932, the year the Stern Family became the owner's of Patek Philippe, the ref. 96 was launched. With its timeless proportions that pay homage to the era's Bauhaus, Art Deco, and Modernism styles the watch remains as stylish today as when it was first designed. It is quintessentially 1930s and yet effortlessly contemporary.

This watch has been owned by the same family since it was purchased new by the present owners Grandfather who passed it to the current owner as a child because it was a small watch. He wore it to school for a short period, having no idea of its precision and rarity before being retired to a draw until now.
