Condition Report:
CASE
Case is attractive with stepped lugs. In our view, the timepiece may have received previous polish. Gold mark to right side case band highly rubbed, but the impression is present. Case bands with light surface scratches. Case with light scuffing and wear throughout. Snap on case back is personally inscribed " Charles B Retz." Crystal glazing with wear to perimeter. Some scratches to the glazing. Associated bracelet is stamped 14K. Bracelet with equivalent scuffing and wear.
DIAL
Dial with age and yelling throughout, with surface spots and light debris. Some light oxidation and debris to indexes and hands.
MOVEMENT
The movement is running at time of cataloging, however it was not tested for the accuracy of time or duration of the power reserve and may need service at the buyer's discretion. Please note that Sotheby's does not guarantee the future working of the movement.
