Paul-Marcellin Berthier (July 8, 1822 - 1912) was a French painter and photographer with a studio in Paris.

He was a member of the Societe francaise de photographie from 1857. The focus of his work is portraits, archeology, but above all landscapes, including views of the Alps, Italy, Switzerland, and the recording of the eruption of Mount Etna (1865).
