Overall in very good condition. This table lamp executed for Hermès presents with a rich and original leather body with variegated hues ranging from light red to maroon. The leather presents with light abrasions to the surface concentrated to the base and neck consistent with age. The original white stitching is intact and in excellent, age appropriate condition. When seen in person, the shade displays a dark green color throughout. The shade is in very good condition overall and presents with very minor surface irregularities inherent to production, light scratches and very minor abrasions to the paint which are not visually distracting. The diffuser, not visible when the lamp is installed, presents with scratches throughout. Sotheby's does not guarantee electrical components and suggests having all wiring inspected by a licensed electrician.
