Condition Report:
Not examined out of the frame. Original unlined condition. There are two patches adhered to the reverse at upper right. The surface presents well. Minor bumping and pulling in the upper left corner; and faint stretcher bar marks in the upper half of the composition and parallel to the left edge. Under UV: varnish fluoresces green unevenly. There are a few small areas of restoration on the figures' arms and coat. In the background at upper left there is an upside down 'L' shaped repair (5 inches long) and a sideways T shaped repair (3 inches long). Additional dashed lines of inpainting fluoresce in the upper background, with with isolated pin dot inpaints throughout. Inpainting along the lower and upper left edges.
