Wall Unit
1950s
walnut, aluminum
height 89 3/4in (228cm); width 98 1/4in (250cm); depth 13in (33cm)
This lot is subject to the following lot symbols: W
W If the lot is not picked up immediately following the auction it may be removed to an offsite storage location for collection. Please contact the salesroom location for further details including dates of removal and applicable charges.
Condition Report: Overall good condition and appearance. There are some typical signs of age, wear and use including an undulating line that goes against the grain, at the very top of the panel on the left upright; not visually distracting. There is a 1 x 1 1/4in veneer loss on top of the long rectangular shelf, on the left side, just above the drawers. The same panel has a thin, 8in wavy line against the grain. One sliding door has a 1 x 1/16in veneer loss on the inset handle. One shelf on the right side has a 7in thin scratch that has darkened with age. There are two dark rings on the same shelf; one is 1in diameter and the other 3/4in diameter. All of the above noted condition issues do not take away from the handsome appearance of the overall piece.
