PAUL YSART (SCOTTISH, 1904-1991) DOUBLE-CLEMATIS LAMPWORK ART GLASS FOOTED MAGNUM PAPERWEIGHT, ten-petal blue clematis blossom with purple stripes, five ridged green leaves protruding from the underside, raised on a thin green stem supporting four additional green and pink leaves, signature cane at the base of the stem, all above a mottled cranberry and brown ground which shows as a brilliant cranberry when hit by light, applied circular foot, polished base. Scotland. Third quarter 20th century. 2 1/2" H, 3 1/2" DOA.
